Morning, the 3rd day of CNY. We started our journey at 9am. After taking breakfast at OldTown Kopitiam, we went straight for a walking tour of Ipoh Old Town.

CNY - Glimpses of Ipoh old town 1/2
CNY - Mahayana Interior
CNY - Mahayana
And we were in another temple. According to my friend, this is the best Mahayana Buddhism temple he has even seen in Malaysia. It is very plain and simple on the outside. But wait until you enter the 1st floor.
It was a big hall of wonderful sights and sounds. Buddhism chanting was in the air. Spectacular lighting on the ceiling and statues. I thought it was awesome. I sat at one corner and did some experiment with my camera.
CNY - Tibetan Temple 3/3
More photos of the Tibetan temple. We were climbing the stairs, from one floor to another. My favourite shot, close up of a golden buddha.
CNY - Tibetan Temple 1/3
Then we drove back to Tambun. Yeah the small town that is famous for its pomelow. We came to this Tibetan Temple, which is located far away from the main road, just next to the mountains. It is actually 2 temples. One with a pagoda on the left, and one with a huge statue on the right.
I'm not really a fan of Tibetan Buddhism but i wouldn't miss the photo opportunity.
CNY - Fresh Coconut Water
We were badly in need of water after coming out from Seen Hock Yeen. We stepped on the brakes and ran to this little stall at the roadside serving fresh coconut water.
15 minutes and 1 ciggies, we were on the move.
