CNY - Taman Alam Kinta

Last stop of our journey. We made a detour on our way back to Ipoh and searched for a wildlife sanctuary. From highways to small roads, and then we turned into a sandy road, in the middle of nowhere.

Actually, this is very near to Batu Gajah. According to my friend, this was an tin mining pool. The tower is built for bird watchers. I love the shape of the trees.

The ironic thing is when we reached the place, it is CLOSED.

Thats the last of our journey. And we went home exhausted, dried, and BURNT !.

I enjoyed the whole journey even though it was so rush as we would like to cover as many places as possible. Looking forward to next round !

CNY - Kellie's Castle

On our way back, we made a brief stop here. You wouldn't believe me, as Ipoh folks, i have never come here before in my entire life.

The castle is all about a tragic love story. And were left in ruins.

We didn't pay 4 ringgit to go inside.

CNY - Waterfalls

It was mid afternoon again and we drove far away into the deep jungle area. We had to walk up many stairs to reach the highest point, which we see a very nice waterfall. The effort was worth it, but i have drawn my last strength here. I had to say no to the next waterfall, Lata Kinjang, which requires more walking and climbing.

CNY - The Cave

This cave is inside a temple and we gotta pay 2 ringgit for entrance. The temple is hardly worth a mentioning. I was very disappointed as it is just another cave with weird rock formation. I thought i would see bright shiny colour crystal.

Well, my first time shooting photos of caves.

CNY - Ipoh Tree

Ipoh is a tree. Yeah there is Ipoh tree. Here's how it looks like.

CNY - World War 1 Memorial

Did we ever involved in World War 1 ?

This memorial is located at the park right in front of the Railway Station in Ipoh.

CNY - Ipoh Railway Station

This is the big huge Ipoh Railway Station. Painted in white, and colonial style architecture. There is a hotel in the same building.

CNY - The Fortress of SMI

LOL. This is actually a high school in Ipoh. St Michael's Institution. I thought it is the most beautiful school building in the city. It started out as a mission school but i believe it is 100% under government now.

I'm not from this school.

CNY - Glimpses of Ipoh old town 2/2

The old City Hall, the Clock Tower and the State Mosque in Ipoh Old Town.
